Bah! Today's meeting didn't go how I would have hoped. It's not that we had a bad discussion. On the contrary, it was probably the best conversation we've had to date. However, it wasn't to the end of getting this paper wrapped up. Instead, it opened up a whole new line of research.
Oh well, as a Literature candidate described PhD work to me when I was at Cornell, "You like Hershey bars? Here! Eat 5,000 of them!"
