I'm well enough again that I've returned to "normal" training. "Normal" meaning: the best I can do given that I'm in grad school.
Turns out that's not very good. There are many runners who seem to get by just fine on 40-50 miles a week, but I'm not one of them. I've always been a high-mileage trainer. Running still feels fine, but I'm really going slow these days. I had thought that maybe I'd at least try to run Boston firm so I was finishing reasonably near the front (a 3:10 would probably put me in the first 3-4,000 finishers). Forget that; this one is going to be a pure fun run.
