No great pearls of wisdom today. Spent most of the evening finishing off my homework.
I will note, however, that if one was to be seeking a PhD in Data Science, clustering would be the quickest route to that provided you knew about a field called Epidemiology. I'm reading all this stuff for my Data Mining class and the citations are all between 1990 and 2010 and I can't help thinking, "we knew all that in the 80's." It's almost enough to make me want to pivot my thesis topic but, for now, I'll carry on with the problem at hand.
